Research Assistant, Project based
The Burd Group seeks a researcher to assist with a short term research project beginning immediately. The researcher must have some knowledge or interest in the nonprofit sector generally and preferably in nonprofit finance. The research assistant will work directly for the President.
We are looking for an individual with the following characteristics:
- Graduate student (or individual with research experience) in public policy, social policy, nonprofit administration, finance or related field
- Strong research skills
- Strong work ethic
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Comfort with and interest in business or finance
- Good interpersonal skills, as well as self-starter who is able to work well independently
- Detail oriented; able to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Highly motivated and inquisitive
